Why we do not auction a repair (October 2025)

The people who walk into your house have been in our other houses. Why that matters.

House keys and a lease folder on a wooden office table.

A repair is not a commodity. The person at the door has a key, a reputation, and an hour in a house you care about. We would rather wait a day for someone we trust than send the first stranger who can be there Tuesday.

Names, not a board

We keep a short list. HVAC, plumbing, electrical, the person who can paint a room so it does not look painted. They know how we like a job left: clean, explained, invoiced in language you can read.

When it costs more

Sometimes the honest price is higher than the first look. We call you before the extra work starts. A surprise on the statement is a failure of the call, not of the invoice.

After hours

Nights and weekends are when houses actually break. The vendor who will pick up then is worth more than the one with the cheapest weekday rate.
