The application that should not take a week (September 2025)

Considerate screening is how a house stays quiet. What we look for, and what we will not do.

A monthly owner statement and a brass pen on a walnut desk.

A good resident is not a mystery. They pay, they stay, they treat the house as if someone they liked were going to live there next. Screening is how we find that person without turning the process into a performance.

Prompt is part of fair

An application that sits is an application that loses the people you wanted. We read it, we decide, we say so. Delay is not thoroughness.

The same questions, every time

Fair housing is not a poster in the office. It is the practice of asking the same things of everyone, in the same order, and keeping the notes. If we cannot explain a no, we should not have said it.

After they move in

Screening does not end at the keys. The first weeks tell you whether the file was right. We watch, we are present, and we do not wait for a problem to become a file.
